Voyagers: Flavors of the Pacific in Kailua-Kona
Guided by the Stars. Connected by the Ocean. United at the Table.

Then step outside
The lanai opens onto Kailua Bay under string lights and woven lamps, with deep sofas made for staying late. Come for a drink at the bar, stay for dinner out in the evening air.
You might know the address: this is the old Kona Canoe Club space, rebuilt from the floor up.

Where is Voyagers?
Voyagers is at 75-5744 Ali'i Drive #21, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, on Ali'i Drive in the Kona Inn Shopping Village, right on the Kailua Bay seawall. It takes over the space that was Kona Canoe Club.
What time does Voyagers open?
Voyagers is open 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. There is one service straight through, so the kitchen is on the whole time we are open.
Does Voyagers take reservations?
No. Voyagers is walk-in only, every table and every night. The lanai and the bar are both first come, first served, so the way to get the seat you want is to come early.
What kind of food does Voyagers serve?
Flavors of the Pacific. The pupu list runs from Tahitian poisson cru and an ahi poke parfait to charred tako, oysters on the half shell and a pupu-style ribeye. The Castaway Classics are bigger plates: fish and chips with furikake fries, a Hawaiian cubano built on kalua pork, a wagyu loco moco burger, a chilled bibimbop salad and an ulu vegetable Japanese curry.
Is there outdoor seating?
Yes. The open-air lanai sits under timber trusses and string lights, and it is first come, first served. The indoor bar sits under a fibre-optic star ceiling modelled on the night sky Polynesian navigators sailed by.
Is Voyagers good for a large group or a private event?
For a private event or a buyout, send the date, the headcount and roughly what you have in mind through the contact form and we will come back to you. For an ordinary large group there is no booking to make, since we do not take reservations: come early and the lanai seats a crowd.
Is there parking near Voyagers?
There is public parking in the Kona Inn Shopping Village lot off Ali'i Drive, plus street parking along Ali'i. Most of Kailua village is walkable from the door.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. The ulu vegetable Japanese curry, the chilled bibimbop salad, the caesar salad and the palusami dip are marked vegetarian, as are the coconut rice, the mixed vegetables and the ulu and sweet potato salad. Several dishes are also marked gluten free. Tell your server about allergies and the kitchen will work around them.
